About the Author

Hi! I'm Priscilla J. Krahn, writer, farm girl, and baby of my family. I've lived on a farm all my life so if you find me to be a little bit 'backwoods' that's why. Growing up as the youngest of seven, I took advantage of my older siblings' books and reading became a part of me at a young age. With the help and encouragement of my family, I eventually decided to not just read, but to try writing. At first it was just short stories, but my dreams of becoming a published author pushed me forward.

My first book was self-published when I was seventeen, and now, at the age of twenty, I have five books self-published, and I'm working with Ambassador International to traditionally publish my next book.

Personality wise, I like to describe myself like my purse, bling on one side, camo on the other side, and the cross in the center. Depending on what settings you know me in, you might think of me as a loud tomboy who likes ice hockey, trapping and fishing, or you might think of me as a shy girl who likes bling, shopping, and coffee drinks.

Of course writing is my main hobby, but I also enjoy playing a little bit of piano, (I'm not really good but I enjoy it,) baking, (brownies and cookies are my favorite,) visiting with friends, (especially one-on-one over a coffee drink:) watching movies, (especially old westerns,) reading, (especially funny mystery books,) and just being me.

When I'm not writing, or doing one of my hobbies, I can be found around our family farm, working at our family corn maze, or helping with some ministry.

My favorite two Jim Elliot quotes sum up how I feel about life. "Live to the hilt every situation that you find yourself in that you believe to be the will of God." and "When it comes time to die, make sure that's all you have left to do."

I hope you've enjoyed this glimpse into my life! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to use the contact form on the side, look me up on google+Facebook, my Amazon Author page, or my Goodreads page.
