Where Are You Going?

In the book Never Leave Me, Amy realized that if she died without Jesus, she would go to Hell. What about you? Are you going to Heaven or Hell when you die? If you have never trusted in Christ for salvation, there is no time like the present. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" In Romans 6:23 it says, "For the wages of sin is death..." The punishment for our sins is death. . . eternal separation from God in Hell. You may think that you have never sinned, but the Bible is very clear that, in God's sight, even the good things we do are like filthy rags. God can't allow sin into Heaven, so if you have told even one lie, you are a sinner and God can't allow you into Heaven. So what can we do? How can we be forgiven of our sins?
The Bible says in I Corinthians 15:3&4 "...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures." God's son, Jesus, came down to earth as a man, and He suffered and died to pay the price for our sins. Only Jesus was perfect and without sin, so only He could pay the price for our sins. Jesus died and shed His blood because He loves us and wants us to be with Him in Heaven. Jesus is God's son, and even after He died, He had power to come back to life. Jesus is alive and in Heaven today, and He wants you and me to have our sins forgiven and live with Him in Heaven. But how do we receive His gift of love? What do we have to do?
Jesus already paid the price, all we have to do is accept it. In Acts 16:31, it says, "...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." And Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." So what's stopping you today, why don't you believe in Jesus now?

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
